LINES Ballet

In January of 2018 Srinivas joined Alonzo King and dancers from LINES Ballet to engage in dialogue about the connections between Eastern and Western artistic traditions. Srinivas also performed sitar for a pas de duex in anticipation of LINES's upcoming collaboration with tabla master Ustad Zakir Hussain.

Inayatiyya

Srinivas is honored to be associated with the Inayatiyya of sufi master Hazrat Inayat Khan whose his universal message of love and oneness spread around the world. Srinivas has performed sitar at the Asthana in Richmond, offered presentations on the power of trees, joined in musical celebrations, and taught online classes introducing raga music to a wider audience. Srinivas is blessed to be a student and friend of Pir Zia who carries on the traditions and teachings of his grandfather Hazrat Inayat Khan.

Wolf Trap Foundation

Srinivas consulted with Wolf Trap Foundation's 2021 production of Savitri, an opera written and composed by Gustav Holst (1874-1934) and based on an ancient legend from the Mahabharata. Srinivas advised the cast and production team about Sanskrit terminology and pronunciation, South Asian cultural appropriateness, and artistic choices regarding costuming and design.

Mind & Life Institute

Srinivas is honored to be associated with the Mind & Life Institute and its many activities relating to the dialogue between modern science and contemplative wisdom. Over the past ten years, Srinivas has performed traditional South Asian classical music at multiple events, discussed the contemplative nature of sound, and presented on the power of trees. He was delighted to participate in three Research Conferences and the International Research Institute program in Kyoto.
