The Brown University Music Department presents an introductory workshop on the classical music of South Asia, hosted by Applied Music Program instructors Srinivas Reddy (sitar) and Nitin Mitta (tabla). Learn about these beautiful instruments and their traditional repertoires. Additionally, Nitin and Srinivas will discuss how they teach South Asian music and the opportunities that exist there for Brown University students.
